| Hip-Hop Rumors: Soulja Boy Disses GZA, Jay, Ye? Lil' Scrappy's New ...
Hip-Hop hasn't been too kind to Lil' Scrappy in the last couple of years. Well, that's got nothing to do with the ladies. I thought Scrappy Doo and Diamond were rock solid, but it would appear that they aren't! Now, we know appearances can be deceiving, but let me explain. AllHipHop.com just got a new columnist, a an actress who is talking about being a fledgling actress. Her name is Noree Victoria. She is very pretty too. Here is her cute pic. So, from what I understand (and am late on) is that Scrappy's Baby Momma got into a fight with Diamond. After that, Scrappy ended it with Diamond, who used to rap with Crime Mob. Now, you can't write/read a rumor about the girl and not read her column.
Is an adult bookstore going in near mall?
QUESTION: I'm hearing there's a large adult bookstore going in somewhere next to the Imperial Valley Mall. I don't know much about it, but there's supposed to be a huge sign near the freeway that will say XXX. It seems weird that a business like this would suddenly be placed by all the nice, new retail stores like Best Buy and Bed, Bath & Beyond. Is it true? Local businesses still abuzz with Christmas patrons
Leigh Mall in Columbus was a flurry of activity Saturday as shoppers hurried to check off every name on their Christmas lists. The stores were filled with customers, and most of the mall's kiosks were doing brisk business, as well. And local merchants were even drawing out-of-towners into the holiday shopping rush.Looking for "purses, flowers and baskets," Joyce Coleman, of Louisville, kept up her tradition of last-minute shopping."There are more places to look and shop (in Columbus)," she said as she took a break on a mall bench. .
The ‘Great Divide’ in Religious Studies
The study will be published in book form next year, but the lead investigator — Barbara E. Walvoord of the University of Notre Dame — gave a preview of the findings Sunday to a standing-room-only audience at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Religion. She spoke of the "great divide" between what professors want to accomplish and what students want to achieve — and a panel of professors who teach intro courses offered their take on dealing with the divergence. Walvoord’s study involved surveys of students and faculty members in 533 introductory courses at a wide range of colleges. More than 12,000 students participated. For Sunday’s presentation, Walvoord presented data from 66 courses whose instructors had been identified by their institutions as "highly effective." Walvoord said that the data on course goals was consistent with the larger group.
Germany claims 70,000 iPhones sold
Deutsche Telekom, the owner of T-Mobile, says that some 70,000 German iPhone subscribers have been added in the 11 weeks since the product's debut in the country on November 9th of last year. "The iPhone is by far the most sold multimedia device in T-Mobile's portfolio," according to Philipp Humm, the head of T-Mobile Germany. Reuters notes however that this figure is roughly equivalent to the number of iPhones sold by Orange in France, which only began its sales on November 28th. Apple claims that some 2.3 million iPhones were sold worldwide during the December quarter alone, and that the total has been over 4 million since the June 29th American launch. This is despite the fact that only France, Germany, the US and the UK currently sell the device. Plans are said to be in the works for wider release, to countries such as Canada, Thailand and Sweden.
Local owners sell Padre Staples Mall
Lets hope that this acquisition along with other planned projects become catalysts to clean up their respective areas. Keep in mind it won't happen overnight, its a progressive action that will play out in time. Best of luck to all involved! .

Epsom woman drops 10 dress sizes
Nikki Catling is celebrating the new year, big time. She is heading for the sales with the aim of buying slinky glamorous dresses and tops to show off her size 14 figure. It is a size she never thought she would reach. This time last year she was wearing huge size 24 dresses and her choice of clothing was severely limited. Nikki, from Epsom, who is in her 20s, has lived with a weight problem all her life. When she was 12 she had reached a size 20 and was breathless when she tried to take part in normal activities for children of that age. And it got worse as she got older. She weighed more than 16 stone when she was 16 and the weight crept on and on. .
