IMN Party Pulse provides e-mail, e-newsletter and reporting tools for direct selling and network marketing organizations that promote their products through Home Shows, Open House events and person-to-person sales.

F.A.I.T.H. co-owners Pam and Mark Hatchard founded their company in 1996 to design and create jewelry that women would find beautiful and inspirational. They wanted to boost their customers' self-esteem with the jewelry, and help them gain financial freedom by selling it through home shows. Now, F.A.I.TH. will use IMN Party Pulse to help its consultants improve their sales and grow their individual networks.

Using IMN Party Pulse, F.A.I.T.H. will write, design and send out e-newsletters on their consultants' behalf. The e-newsletters will be personalized with each consultant's contact information and photograph and go only to the customers in her network.

What happened to the Securitas cash?

You may lose around 20% as the price of getting it cleaned. Another drawback is that there is an intrinsic lack of trust with dodgy money in the underworld so you find people ripping you off," he said.

Several people believed to have handled money from the Brinks Mat robbery ended up dead, with the suspicion being that they were killed for embezzling money from the raid.

Detective Chief Inspector Mick Judge has vowed to find the Securitas money: "Right at the start of the inquiry we made it clear that finding the money was one of the priorities for us - and that has not changed."

His team has frozen assets in Morocco and their inquiries will continue, he said.

Services, manufacturing and retail report poor performances

Growing signs that the British economy is starting to slow in response to higher interest rates and the global credit crunch emerged yesterday as the services, retail and manufacturing sector all reported unexpectedly poor performances.

Output in the dominant services sector grew at its slowest rate in more than four years last month, according to the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply/NTC's latest monthly survey of the sector, which accounts for two thirds of the economy.

The survey said the slowdown was particularly marked in the financial sector.

"A combination of the financial market turmoil in late summer, the ensuing Northern Rock crisis, and increasing worries over the outlook for the UK property market have taken their toll on confidence," said Paul Smith, NTC economist.

Ben Bova: What this nation needs is more grandmothers at the top

Grandfathers are more pragmatic and less likely to spend hours shopping for the perfect gift for a 2-year-old. Most grandfathers consider their obligation fulfilled when they slip the kid a few bucks and tell him or her to buy what they like.

Grandmothers shop. They can spend days hunting down the most elusive toy, or game, or coat, or whatever their darling grandchild wants. And while hunting, the grandmothers come upon many targets of opportunity. They come home, exhausted but happy, with gifts for grandfather as well as the local pizza delivery guy. And, often enough, with a darling pair of shoes for themselves that they just couldn't pass up.

If these grandmothers were on the boards of directors of major banks, manufacturers, building developers and other national corporations, I doubt that we'd have the economic worries that now assail us.

McCain's "Mexico First" Aide

She'll almost certainly win the Florida vote next week, and she's already won in Michigan. But I don't see how the convention can fairly award Hillary the delegates from those states after the DNC got her competitors to pledge not to campaign in those states' primaries. Doesn't that discredit those primaries? Or should Obama and Edwards be punished because they obeyed their party? ... Maybe the convention should seat some Florida and Michigan delegates, but if so you'd think the party would make those states choose them anew through an actual contested election, caucus, or convention. ... What am I missing? ... 1:14 A.M. link

On the bright side: The Hillary campaign shakeup--cruelly delayed by the unexpected victory in New Hampshire--may now be back on track.

Commerce Bancorp Inc. Q4 2007 Earnings Call Transcript

Our check card revenue continues to grow with a 27% increase for the year of 2007. We continue to review our non-interest expense growth in this volatile interest rate environment. Excluding the impact of the incremental FDIC premium for 2007, which was $21 million for us and onetime costs related to the sale of the insurance subsidiary, non-interest expenses were up 17% for 2007. We are working on a plan to lower this rate of growth in non-interest expenses in 2008.

At December 31, 2007, we remained well capitalized by regulatory standards with our leverage ratio at 6.01%. Before turning it over to Bob I would like to spend a few minutes discussing the companys investment portfolio.

All of our mortgage backed securities are either agency backed or triple A rated.

Banks are helping sharia make a back-door entrance

It will require more pressure from individuals like you and institutions to halt this financial, and purely ideologocally based, deceipt. However, with trillions of petrodollars available it must be pretty easy these days to buy influence and decisions. Posted 25/01/08 at 9:30 AM EST | Alert an Editor | Link to Comment .
