| Radio 1 DJ who was set to play Dubai arrested at airport over drugs ...
Grooverider, a Radio 1 DJ, is facing the possibility of a four-year prison term in Dubai after police arrested him for allegedly carrying cannabis and pornographic DVDs into the country. Grooverider – whose real name is Raymond Bingham – was arrested at Dubai airport on November 23, hours before he was due to play a sold-out show at The Lodge, one of the Gulf state’s hottest clubs. A small amount of cannabis was reported to have been found in his record collection. The 40-year-old DJ, who co-hosts the weekly BBC drum-and-bass programme Fabio and Grooverider, faces four years in jail or deportation if he is found guilty. His case is causing huge controversy in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where strict laws rooted in conservative Islam sometimes clash with the liberal values of its expatriate citizens and the millions of tourists who visit every year.
Try clicking not clipping coupons
Supermarket chains are trying out paperless, or digital, coupons to help the thrifty-minded save time while saving money. Shoppers load the online discounts onto their store loyalty cards, receiving credit at the checkout. Grocers see the innovation as a way to build customer loyalty, drawing consumers who are increasingly spending time online to their Web sites and ultimately, their stores. The move could increase coupon use by attracting shoppers who don't bother with paper coupons. It offers convenience for the companies in reducing handling, tallying and shipping of coupons, as well as cutting paper use. Kroger Co., the nation's largest traditional grocery chain, and Procter & Gamble Co., the largest consumer products company, are partners in a digital coupon trial that began last month.

"There's more selection here," said her fiancé, Carl Atkinson. The Kanata couple arrived Saturday with two friends to spend a weekend shopping, mostly for new clothes. .

That roiled Wall Street and the likely message to individual markets was: hold tight, don't add expenses, don't make any changes until 2007.
